Welcome to our training workshop on drawing up and updating commitment plans.

In this Sequence 19, we will describe the procedure and frequency for updating commitment plans.

The updating procedure involves redefining the profiles of the consolidated commitment plan at central level, and reflecting these changes in the programming of appropriation consumption within administrations through sectoral commitment plans.

The process of updating the commitment plan begins with the updating of the consolidated commitment plan to take into account the impact of one of the above-mentioned factors on appropriations consumption planning.

To this end, the DGB communicates instructions to administrations for updating their sectoral commitment plans. The latter organize a management dialogue to enable them to take account of the aforementioned instructions, and update their sectoral commitment plans, which they send to the DGB for verification and implementation in the information system.

From this sequence, you should remember that the updating procedure is a vertical one. It begins with an update of the CCP, then guidelines are given to the sectoral administrations to update the SCP.
