MINEDUB is planning to build a 3-storey building next year, which will be fitted out with office furniture and computer equipment. A wired network will connect all the building’s computers. This building is a prerequisite for the start of digital educational resource production activities, so it’s very important that the work proceeds according to schedule.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The construction of the fully-equipped building is Activity 1 of Action 01 of Program 196 of MINEDUB’s Annual Work Plan (AWP). The AWP indicates that 480 million euros have been earmarked for this activity. The activity is broken down into 5 tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This activity has given rise to a public procurement contract which has been split into 5 lots, one for each task. The contracting process has been completed. All lots have been awarded.<\/p>\n

Lot 1 (construction of the building) will be the subject of 3 breakdowns for the construction and 3 breakdowns for the inspection mission.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Construction of the building is scheduled to start in March and last 5 months. Structural work is scheduled for completion at the end of May. External fittings in June, computer networking in July, carpentry-plumbing-electricity-painting in August. Materials and IT equipment are due for delivery in September.<\/p>\n

The aim of this case study is to extract the elements needed to draw up a Sector Commitment Plan. For the sake of simplicity, we have limited ourselves to a single activity, but the elements derived from this activity can be generalized to produce a Sectoral Commitment Plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
